First day of full practice

Today was the first day of full practice, and the guys are gelling together pretty well. We are practicing at a local high school, and the guys are enjoying their host families. I should also say that the families are also loving hosting the players. Tomorrow we will be worshipping with the host families at the church that is supporting us, and then have an afternoon practice before having dinner and a dessert social with each of our host families.

Monday will bring us down into the inner city of Chicago, to Marshall High School, where we will have practice, do some urban ministry, and then scrimmage some of the former players from the area. Also, our team will have the chance to get a United Center, and also see the Michael Jordan statue. Check back for more updates on that later this week.

Here is a link to the Athletes in Action blog that I am updating for our AIA-Colombia Trip Team. We will try update it a few times while in Colombia, but there will probably not be any pictures until we return from our trip.
