Sweet things that I've seen this week...

First of all, there seemed to be a theme of art throughout this week that was revealed to me. It consisted of some pretty sweet ice fishing shanties, as well as a poem that is so true, it makes me want to send it to like.... almost everyone I know. (That is a joke just so, like.... don't get upset). It really speaks to the way that we as teenagers / 20-somethings talk.

I don't know if the fish aren't biting in Minnesota, but there is a great art festival that highlights ice fishing shanties. (http://www.artshantyprojects.org/artists)

Second, here is a video that shows the words to Taylor Mali's "Totally, Like, Whatever, You Know" from the world of slam poetry. It's pretty creative...

Finally, here is a video from Lecrae, a Christian rapped with Reach Records (http://www.reachrecords.com/), talking about the situation in Haiti in the wake of the devistating earthquake that stuck a few weeks ago. Remember, God is not far away at all. The proceeds of this song will go to helping rebuild churches in Haiti (http://bit.ly/a1sxJg)
