All settled into Cartagena!

Well, we finally made it to Cartagena this morning, after missing our last flight last night that was supposed to leave from Bogota. However, we spent the night in Bogota, then flew to Cartagena this morning. It has been great being here in Colombia, and the church and Athletes in Action staff that are hosting us have been great. They greeted us at the airport today with a huge AIA sign, as well as a cooler full of ice cold bottled water. It was useful, since it is very hot and humid down here.

We played our first game tonight, and won 95-53. Our guys played great, even after getting only a few hours of sleep last night, and flying 3 times in less than 24 hours. We had a great opportunity to share the gospel with the other team and the fans that were in attendance at halftime of our game. Heiden, one of our players, was able to share his testimony. We then stayed after and talked with the players about their university (Universidad Technologica de Bolivar), city, and faith. It was a great time.

Tomorrow we will be going to the beach, then haveing a clinic at night, before ending the night with a game. Look back for more updates!

I will update more pictures later when I have more time. So look for that. This one picture is the view out of my hotel room in Cartagena. You can see the Carribean Sea in the distance.
